Felt Mansion, The


Beautifully situated six miles north of Saugatuck and ten miles south of Holland, Michigan, the Felt Estate was once the luxurious summer home of self-made millionaire and inventor Dorr E. Felt. The mansion, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Michigan State Register of Historic Sites, retains the architectural beauty of a bygone era. With a stately library, fine dining room, beautiful parlor and third floor ballroom, the mansion offers many options for a variety of events from an intimate family gathering to formal banquets. Seating Capacity: Varies from 16 to 200 guests. Additional seating available for outdoor events. On-Site Ceremonies can be arranged indoors or outdoors and may also be provided at the historic Shore Acres Chapel.
