Douglas Oktoberfest

In the German tradition, the Village of Douglas celebrates Oktoberfest each fall in downtown Douglas. This festive event begins with a parade down Center Street followed by a rifle ceremony and the official tapping of the keg. Locals and visitors alike enjoy grilled brats, sauerkraut, local micro brewed beer, Alphorn performances, traditional German music...and the ever popular group chicken dance!
