Taste of Saugatuck

The Taste of saugatuck food festival has been held on the last sunday
in August for the past two decades in downtown Saugatuck at Wicks
Park on Water Street from noon to 7:00 PM. This family friendly event
brings together local culinary artisans and area restaurants who
prepare samples of favorite items from their menus. Visitors have the
opportunity to taste a variety of offerings ranging from margarita
chicken, grilled salmon and saganaki to more traditional items
including smoked barbecued ribs, roasted corn and kid friendly pizza.
Of course there are always an array of home made deserts and pies
from local orchards and dollops of ice cream to top off the day. Live
music, children's activities, sailboats, sunshine and happy faces make
this harbor front event one of the most popular festivals in West
Michigan.
