Join us for an area wide holiday open house where you will be welcomed into many festively decorated lodging facilities to share their family's most treasured Christmas cookie recipes. 6 SAUGATUCK 'S "WHOVILLE" CHRISTMAS PARADE

1pm, Butler Street in downtown Saugatuck. Dress up as your favorite Whoville character and join Saugatuck's Festive Holiday Parade which will be led by Whoville's fabled Mayor as parade Marshall. The parade will include the Saugatuck high school band, The Whoville Peppermint Stick marching Brigade, The Snow Shovel Drill Team, Whoville's best dressed parade pets contestants and of course everyone's favorite Christmas villain... THE GRINCH!!! Santa Clause and his helpers will be available for photo opportunities and to greet little children to hear their Christmas wishes prior to the parade courtesy of Mill Pond Realty. Santa's red trolley will be located on Mason Street in downtown Saugatuck at noon. Photo opportunities will be available with Whoville parade characters at the Town Commons tennis courts following the parade. Sponsored by the Saugatuck-Douglas Visitors Bureau, (269) 857-1701.

6 NOUVEAU FEST FENN VALLEY VINEYARD

6 WINTERFEST AT FELT ESTATE

12-2pm, Winterfest, the first Saturday in December remains an annual family event for many families in the West Michigan area. With a visit from Santa, face-painting, horse-drawn wagon rides, and a free lunch provided by Dokk's Firehouse Dogs.
