FOREVER CURIOUS CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

Come and join us for some indoor fun! We always have something going on at the museum, from Mom & Tots mornings to our Super Saturdays, the fun never ends. Thursdays: Moms & Tots Mornings 10am – 1 pm. Come join us for coffee from Root, every Thursday morning. Bring your friends and their kids too! Once a month we will have table massages done by Christina from Ideal Bodyworks. Call for more info. First Fridays: Open till 8pm to all. OLD SCHOOL HOUSE HISTORY CENTER EXHIBITION

Exhibit “Rowing them Safely Home – Lifesaving and Shipwrecks on Lake Michigan.” See America’s most famous lifesaving boat of 1850, surrounded by Lake Michigan shipwreck and lifesaving stories. Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Society. Hours and info at sdhistoricalsociety.org

SAUGATUCK/DOUGLAS HISTORICAL MUSEUM

Award-winning museum’s 2016 exhibition is “WATER: A River, A Lake, A Place Called Saugatuck-Douglas.” The permanent interactive “super map” allows visitors to learn the history of sites throughout the local communities. WINE PAIRING DINNERS

The Belvedere Inn & Restaurant is offering an informative and fun wine pairing dinner series the first Saturday of each month, November through April. Wines are chosen from a particular region to be paired with a special six course gourmet dinner prepared by Chef Shaun Glynn (Galway, Ireland). Each menu will focus on particular ingredients, dishes and style of cooking indigenous to the featured wine region. The wines are presented by the expert wine representative of that growing region.
