YEAR 'ROUND EVENTS
SAUGATUCK-DOUGLAS HISTORICAL MUSEUM-
735 Park Street (at the foot of Mt. Baldhead) Saugatuck. The award winning museum will feature an exhibit titled "Summertime II - Celebrating Ox-Bow and the Many Worlds of Art and Leisure". The permanent interactive "super map" exhibit allows visitors to learn about the history of sites throughout the Saugatuck-Douglas area. Museum is open noon - 4pm daily Sunday, May 30 through Labor Day and on weekends in September and October. Special group openings and tours by request. The museum is located in the historic Pump House at Mt. Baldhead Park on the west shore of the Kalamazoo River. Gift shop features many award-winning books and local history.
