Arrowhead Resort in Saugatuck is a
family-friendly destination for those seeking a Michigan vacation that combines relaxation
and fun. Situated just inside the gateway to Saugatuck, the resort features two
styles of lodging—11 attached bungalows and a well-appointed guest house whose
modest exteriors belie their lovely interiors.
Across the street from Saugatuck harbor, the
resort appeals to couples, small families, and groups planning family reunions
or weddings. Accommodating from two to eight guests, the handsome bungalows vary
in size—studios, family studios, two-bedroom units, and deluxe two-bedroom
units.
The studios, which sleep two, feature a
fully equipped kitchen, full bath, queen-size Murphy bed that was custom-made
to fold into a wall, and comfortable living area with cable TV/DVD. Each family
studio, which sleeps two to four, features a fully equipped kitchen with
granite counter top, full bath, flat-screen TV/DVD, and a deluxe-size Murphy
bed and sofa sleeper in the living area that is accented by a soaring ceiling.
The two-bedroom units, which sleep from
four to six, feature a similar kitchen and bathroom set up as the family studio
but either two, queen-size beds and a sofa sleeper, or a queen-size bed, bunk
bed, and a sofa sleeper that can be found in the living area with a flat-screened
TV/DVD player. The deluxe two-bedroom units, which sleep six to eight, offer all the amenities of the other units,
plus a deluxe queen-size Murphy bed, two regular queen-size beds, and a sofa sleeper
in the living area.
The guest house, which sleeps 14, is truly
a home-away-from home. The stylish home is well-designed, featuring a full-sized
kitchen, spacious living area with fireplace, tastefully furnished dining room,
a radiant sun porch, and colorfully decorated bedrooms.
Bungalow guests can unwind in an adjacent
courtyard, where grills are available for outdoor cooking. Guests at the
Arrowhead House can relax in the tranquil gardens that surround the lovely
property.
At Arrowhead Resort, guests enjoy easy
access to other Saugatuck pleasures. They need only take a short stroll to reach
the harbor, or walk a few blocks to catch the action in the center of town.
