Most of the more traditional properties can be found in Saugatuck, all within short walking distance to downtown and the activities and attractions it has to offer. The range of properties includes a romantic one-bedroom, one-bath cottage with a river view, two-bedroom cottages either downtown or on the river front, and three-bedroom homes on and off the river. Several have fireplaces, decks or patios and large yards for picnics, grilling, or games. Most have well equipped kitchens, laundry facilities and outdoor gas grills.
Among the more unique properties, the old-mill cottage is a Saugatuck landmark that features a recently remodeled, one bedroom, one bath cottage with a magnificent view from the adjoining deck and the soothing sounds of the water wheel being powered by the mill pond spillway. Summer Fun Cottages also rents two different houseboats. One is a 105-foot sleek luxury Bed & Breakfast with four handsomely furnished suites–a full breakfast is served on board daily. The second is a two bedroom, one bath houseboat that is permanently docked in a quaint marina setting on the river just a few blocks from the downtown area. A third unique property is an historic three bedroom, two bath cottage that sits 40 feet above the river among large oak trees and has an expansive water view from it's large screened-in porch. It also has dockage for a small power boat. This is a glorious retreat only a short walk from downtown Saugatuck.
When it comes to personal service, the Summer Fun owners personally check guests into each cottage and are readily available to point guests in the right direction for where to eat and what to do and see during their vacation stay. The owners even provide Moped rental for those who want to see the sights from a motor scooter.
