Felt Mansion Summer Concert - Zion Lion

The Summer Concert Series brings local, regional, and national bands along with local food and beverage vendors to the estate so you can enjoy great music and good eats. The Summer Concert Series is in July. Admission is free with beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and food available for purchase. Food and beverage is available at 6:00 PM and music starts at 7:00 PM. Bring your own beach chair or blankets.

Guests are allowed to bring in outside food, but (in accordance with our liquor license) no outside drinks. We will be checking coolers at the door.

Zion Lion is the "baddest band to hit the Kalamazoo music scene”. The members are a combination of several bands from the Kalamazoo area that crossed each others path along the way and decided to form what we believe to be the right mix of reggae. African zouk, mucosa, zoukous and some Afro-latin influences. These musicians have played in small clubs to large cultural festivals including, the Kalamazoo Island Festival, Kalamazoo Black arts festival, Grand Rapids Caribbean Festival, Muskegon Summer Festival, Louisville Reggae Festival and Rock Island Caribbean Festival to name a few.
