Unmasked: Photographic Portraits After 2020

Date:
6/6/2021 - 9/7/2021
Location:
Venue: Saugatuck Douglas District Library
137 E. Center Street Douglas, MI 49406
Description:

The Saugatuck Douglas Fennville Arts Initiative (SDFAI) is dedicated to bringing the highest quality, innovative, interactive art experiences to diverse audiences in the Art Coast of Michigan.

We kick off the first season of the Saugatuck Douglas Fennville Arts Initiative with a show of faces of the people who live in our communities unmasked.

Portraits of residents and some selfies will appear on the walls of the new Saugatuck Douglas District Library taken by many who have never called themselves artists with equipment that is as simple as a cell phone.

These photos capture the expressions of people who remind us and make us love where we live. People who visit the Art Coast this summer will get a glimpse of the characters that create our communities.

Sneak into the library and explore the full spectrum of what our folks can create. Check out the library’s website for programs focused on the camera.  All free to anyone who wants to venture into the world of photography.
