KIDS CAMP - HAPPY GREETINGS W/ DESIGNER LINDSEY PETERSON (AGES 7+)

9:30AM - 12:30PM. Saugatuck Center for the Arts. This offering will be hosted at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts in an open-air classroom (400 Culver St. Saugatuck, MI 49453). A prepackaged snack will be provided for each camper. In an uncertain world, kind hand-written messages are more important than ever! Join graphic designer and GVSU Design Professor Lindsey Peterson for this workshop all about greeting cards. Campers will explore the history of greeting cards before creating their own, using various drawing techniques and collage. From unique patterns to silly puns, campers will leave with a set of custom hand-created cards to share with loved ones. All live-instruction camps are dependent on State guidelines. Should the State “dial back” gathering guidelines in the future the SCA will comply. If this should happen, all impacted classes would be cancelled; patrons would receive e-notification and be refunded.
